Nursery and Greenhouse Crops (Published)

Nursery and greenhouse production technologies are evolving rapidly. Nursery crops include ornamental trees, shrubs, herbaceous annuals, perennials, and bulb crops. The global flower and ornamental plants market was valued at USD 47.6 billion in 2020 and is expected to reach USD 72.5 billion by the end of 2027 (source: globenewswire.com). Thousands of ornamental plants are planted and maintained in landscapes, and many new cultivars are added every year. Greenhouses are often used for the year-round production of high-value ornamentals and vegetables. With the increasing demand for local fresh produce, greenhouses are playing an even more important role in the production of value-added crops year-round. In recent years, significant research has been carried out on various aspects of nursery and greenhouse crops around the globe. The purpose of this Special Issue is to publish high-quality original research papers, full reviews, mini-reviews, and short communications related to nursery and greenhouse crop production.

Examples of specific topics are listed below. Other related topics are also welcomed.
