Abstract
Pholiota polychroa, collected from Rusoma community forest and Porodisculus orientalis, collected from Puliebadze reserved forest stand, Kohima are reported as new additions to woodrotting fungi of India. The genus Porodisculus is new to India as well. Furthermore, ecological, taxonomic and morphological descriptions of the two species are discussed in this paper.
